LEWISTON — Mark your calendars for 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 5, when Denny Breau presents the “Blowin’ in the Wind” concert, a 60s folk fest to benefit Pettingill School Park, at the Franco Center.
Once again Denny will be headlining a cast of talented Central Maine musicians while raising funds to continue to implement park improvements.
Some of the guest artists featured will include Dave Rowe, Kathy Haley, Debbie Morin, Frank Coffin and Malinda Liberty. The show will celebrate the era of folk music when musicians like Bob Dylan, the Mamas and Papas, Simon and Garfunkle, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, Peter Paul and Mary, and Gordon Lightfoot topped the charts.
Tickets are $15 per person.
