Norway community garden

Jan. 182017

At the Alan Day Community Garden at 26 Whitman St., Norway, anyone can rent plots to grow food, attend free workshops and events, and volunteer. Youth 13 years and older can apply to join the 4H Youth Leadership Program, where they will help create our local food system, learn to grow and prepare healthy meals, and teach others.

Every year the community garden hosts hundreds of youth from local schools and colleges, and many new and returning families who want to grow their own food. The community garden is open to the public, and everyone is welcome to join.
