AUGUSTA — The Sexual Assault Crisis and Support Center will be holding a night of recognition of community members and partners who have made a difference in the lives of children, adults, and families affected by sexual abuse at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, at the Senator Inn on Western Avenue.
Among the honorees will be Laura Benedict, owner of the Red Barn, who will receive the second annual Peter McAvoy Champion of Children Award.
The night will include the drawing of the $10,000 cash raffle prize winner.
