WATERFORD — The Western Foothills Land Trust is hosting a winter solstice hike up Hawk Mountain at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21.
Enjoy a moderate half-hour hike up to the expansive view from the ledge at Hawk Mountain. We will leave from the Hawk Mountain trail head parking area, on Hawk Mountain Road, three-fourth of a mile southeast of Mill Hill Road, South Waterford.
Please wear comfortable boots, bring spikes if icy, and poles if desired.
