LEWISTON-AUBURN —Children and their parents lined up in Kennedy Park in Lewiston for free wagon rides during the Nov. 26 holiday celebration. Later, after the Parade of Lights, Santa arrived at the park to listen to the children’s wishes for Christmas.

The Auburn Business Association had a table in Festival Plaza during the Twin Cities Festival of Art and Lights offering free doughnut holes, hot chocolate, and free winter mittens for any child who needed them. Always part of the Twin Cities Parade of Lights is the decoration of many of the work trucks like this snowplow and large dumpster.

Santa and Mrs. Claus pass Auburn Festival Plaza on their way to Lewiston to meet with the children. The Parade of Lights started on Main Street in Auburn and proceeded across the bridge to Lisbon Street and Lewiston’s Kennedy Park.
