FAIRFIELD — Join the madness at the United Way of Mid-Maine’s Mad Hatter Gala and Auction from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at Kennebec Valley Community College.
The Mad Hatter Gala and Auction is United Way of Mid-Maine’s annual fundraiser offering dinner, live music, a cash bar, and both a silent and a live auction. Tickets for this event are $50 per person or $360 for a table of eight.
The funds raised will help United Way of Mid-Maine invest in immediate and long-term solutions to issues that are facing our community: youth homelessness, food insecurity, access to health care (including mental health and substance abuse treatment) and financial stability.
Attendees are encouraged to dress as a character from “Alice in Wonderland.” Festive hats will also be available for a modest donation.
Auction items include a Wiscasset Raceway Coastal 200 VIP package and tickets to see Green Day live. Additional auction items can be seen on UWMM’s website www.uwmm.org.
A special focus of the evening is funding two key UWMM efforts: Keeping Mid-Maine Warm and the Youth Homelessness Initiative.
Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite, by following the link on www.uwmm.org or by calling the UWMM office at 207-873-9686.
