AUBURN — Androscoggin Youth Indoor Soccer is now accepting registrations for the January through February session at the Ingersoll Turf Facility.
AYIS leagues are a mixture of weekly practices and games, all hosted at Ingersoll. AYIS leagues are run by National Soccer Club, a nonprofit organization based out of Leeds. National Soccer Club prepares, trains and develops players through AYIS with the intent of encouraging youth players to pursue soccer as they grow, gaining a lifelong love of the sport.
This session of AYIS will meet on Saturdays between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 7 through Feb. 18. There will be two coed age divisions. The older division will be for participants with a birth year of 2003, 2004 or 2005. The younger division will be for birth years 2006, 2007 or 2008.
Registration is open and ongoing. The registration form can be physically picked up at the Auburn Rec Department, at Ingersoll Turf Facility or downloaded under the “Rental Programs” link at www.ingersollturffacility.com.
The deadline for registration is Dec. 31. Registrations will be processed in the order they are received and overflow will be put on a waitlist.
