Local karate students travel to N.Y. for tourney

GREENE — JKA Maine Karate Academy of Greene travelled to West Bronx, N.Y., on Oct. 22 for the JKA Shotokan Karate-Do International Championship & U.S. Goodwill Tournament.

Congratulations to the competition team, which brought home five gold, three silver and two bronze medals.
