Cancer Resource Center, Bader Physical Therapy announce new class for cancer patients, survivors and caregivers
NORWAY — Lori Britting will be the instructor for Banding Together To Restore, a new class sponsored by the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine. The classes will be held from 11 a.m. to noon on Mondays, Dec. 5, 12 and 19, and will be held at Richard Bader Physical Therapy, 176 Main St.
The program is focused on regaining motion and strength through guided instruction using stretching and colored Therabands. Each participant will be encouraged to work within their abilities to safely gain their desired goals. Getting back energy and the ability to move easier and carry out daily tasks and enjoying life are part of this program. This free class is for cancer survivors, caregivers and those in treatment. The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine is in the Stephens Memorial Hospital Specialty Clinic building at 199 Main St., Norway. Hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Thursday and Friday.
