NORWAY — The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine recently presented a check to the Oncology Services Fund at Stephen’s Memorial Hospital, 181 Main St. This fund assists patients diagnosed with cancer in emergency situations to provide their medication and/or gift cards to help with travel and food as need arises. The check represents funds raised by the Norway Country Club Ladies Golf Association during its annual Drive Out Cancer tournament.
The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine, 199 Main St., is located in the Stephens Memorial Hospital Specialty Clinic building. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Thursday and Friday. For more information, visit www.crcofwm.org, find it on Facebook or call Sherri at 207-890-3029.
