Supporting Maine’s native pollinators talk is April 19

SOUTH PARIS – A presentation on how to support Maine’s native pollinators will take place from 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, at Oxford County Cooperative Extension, 9 Olson Road.
The presentation is free and open to the public. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Biologist Hannah Mullally will talk about the breadth of Maine’s native pollinators, their importance in the ecosystem and food supply, and how individuals can support them using native plants in creating pollinator habitat.
Participants must register by April 19 at oxfordcountyswcd.org/workshops.
