KINGFIELD — HealthReach will hold a free public COVID-19 booster shot clinic at at Mt. Abram Regional Health Center, 25 Depot St., from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 1.
The clinic is open to all, patients and the public. No appointment is necessary.
It is the first of a series of clinics being held at HealthRearch sites across central and western Maine in the coming weeks.
The clinics are providing Bivalent Moderna boosters, available to any fully-vaccinated person age 6 and up, reardless of their primary vaccination series – Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, and other brands.
The free shots are on a first-come, first-served walk-in basis for anyone eligible to receive their updated shot.
