Central Maine students named to Bates dean’s list

LEWISTON – Students from central Maine are among those named to the Bates College 2022 fall semester dean’s list.
Dean’s list distinction is earned by students whose grade point average is 3.92 or higher for the semester.
Recognized for academic achievement are:
BRIDGTON: Allison Baker, daughter of Daniel Baker and Meagan Baker, a graduate of Lake Region High School, and a first-year student.
BRUNSWICK: Anthony Malis, a graduate of Brunswick High School and a junior majoring in earth and climate sciences; Merys Carty, daughter of Deanna L. Pouliot and James C. Carty, a graduate of Fryeburg Academy, and a senior majoring in history.
GARDINER: Evan Wells, son of Jeffrey V. Wells and Allison M. Wells, a graduate of Gardiner Area High School,and a junior majoring in politics and minoring in history.
HARRISON: Delaney Rankin, daughter of Deane E. Rankin and Sandra P. Rankin, a graduate of St. Johnsbury Academy, and a first-year student.
LEWISTON: Gianluca Yornet de Rosas, son of Mario Yornet and Mariana De Rosas Videla a graduate of United World College, ISAK Japan, and a junior majoring in environmental studies and minoring in French and Francophone studies.
LOVELL: Zoe Maguire, daughter of Michael Maguire and Thelma Maguire, a graduate of Fryeburg Academy and a senior majoring in psychology.
MECHANIC FALLS: Colin Marquis Boutin, the son of Todd J. Marquis Boutin and Lori J. Marquis Boutin, a graduate of Poland Regional High School and a junior majoring in politics and minoring in Chinese.
MONMOUTH: Ed Zuis, son of Edmund Zuis and Catherine V. Squires, a graduate of Monmouth Academy, and a junior majoring in biological chemistry and mathematics.
