Leavitt champion teams feted at Maine State House

The Leavitt Area High School football and golf teams were guests of the Maine State Legislature on Feb. 9, in recognition of their state championships during the fall sports season. The golf team (above) won the 2022 Class B State Championship and the football team won the 2022 Class C State Championship. The teams were presented with a Legislative sentiment by state Sen. Jeff Timberlake, R-Androscoggin, Rep. Josh Morris, R-Turner, and Rep. Steve Wood, R-Greene.
