BRIDGTON — Gary Colello, Bridgton’s director of recreation, will speak at the Jan. 26 breakfast meeting of the Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club.
The talk is at 7:30 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 26, at Stella’s on the Square, 6 High St. and is in-person only. There is no charge to attend and complimentary coffee will be provided. All are welcome.
Colello will talk about the recreation department past, present and future. He was hired in 2013 to run the ever-expanding department. Colello has a master’s degree n education with a specialization in programming in sports and fitness, and came to Bridgton from Laconia, New Hampshire.
In 2020 he received the Dr. Bill Eckart Young Professional Award from the Maine Recreation & Parks Association.
