SKOWHEGAN – Somerset SnowFest will run from Feb. 18-26 at outdoor sites in Skowhegan and Madison.
The popular Skijor Skowhegan will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Skowhegan Fairgrounds. In skijor, a person on skis is pulled by a horse or a dog.
Other events include Kid Box Sled Derby, Ice Hole Championship, ice fishing derby, Downhill Kayak Race, cross-country skiing, hikes, beer gardens, Nine and Wine (ski nine holes, then enjoy wine at a bonfire), kite-flying derby, winter triathlon, and more.
Venues are Lake George Regional Park, Weston Woods, Skowhegan Fairgrounds, Coburn Park, Coburn Woods, Weston Woods and Waters, and more.
