Lithgow Library January programs scheduled

AUGUSTA – Presentations by former Bangor Police Dept. lieutenant Tim Cotton and vision boards are scheduled at Lithgow Public Library for January.
All Lithgow presentations are free and open to the public at take place at the Community Meeting Room at the library, 45 Winthrop St.
Cotton will be at the library at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17. While at the Bangor Police Department, he created the department Facebook page, including the Duck of Justice, which went viral. He is the author of “The Detective in the Dooryard,” “Got Warrants” and his latest, “Dawn in the Dooryard: Reflections from the Jagged Edge of America.”
From 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 28, participants my create vision boards for 2023, helping focus on what they’d like to happen in the new year. The project is based on “The Power of Eight,” by Lynn McTaggart and copies will be available in advance. The session will also include a short book discussion, but it’s not necessary to read the book to participate in the seminar.
