Cancer Resource Center tree lighting, remembrance ceremony is Dec. 15

NORWAY – The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine will hold a tree lighting and remembrance ceremony at the large pine tree at Lakeside Norway beginning at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15. The site is at 61 Lake Road, beside the old CB Cummings Landing on Route 118.
The event is free and open to the public.
There will be live music, refreshments, and tours of the CB Cummings Mill Barn. The tree lighting will be at 5:30 p.m., followed by reading the names of loved ones who have died.
The Cobblestones will conclude the event in a round of holiday caroling. Hot chocolate, cider and snacks will be available. For information, visit the event Facebook page.
