LEWISTON – Mark Roberts, senior investigator and dog handler with the Office of the State Fire Marshal, will be the featured speaker at the Dec. 8 Great Falls Forum Speaker Series.
His talk, “Accelerant Detection K-9s in Fire Investigation,” is free and open to the public. It will be from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday Dec. 8, in Callahan Hall, Lewiston Public Library, 200 Lisbon St., and streamed live via Zoom and the Lewiston Public Library Facebook page.
Roberts will talk about the demographics of fire marshal’s K-9 team and how trained dogs are used in fire investigation and prevention, their biological capabilities, why they’re such an effective fire investigation tool, and more.
