HARRISON – Bolster Mills United Methodist Church has several services and events scheduled for the Advent season. The church is on Bolster Mills Road, and welcomes all.
At 9 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 27, a Hanging of the Greens Worship Service will be offered. Fellowship with refreshments will follow the service.
A day of festivities on Sunday, Dec. 4, will begin with a 9 a.m. Advent worship service and fellowship, followed by Advent study at 10:30 a.m.
At 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, a a benefit Christmas concert, featuring Tony Landsperg and David Seeley will be held. The sing-al-long concert will support the program to provide a bag of hygiene products for teens experiencing homelessness. The concert is free of charge, but those attending may bring a hygiene product to donate. There will also be a free-will offering to benefit the mission. Refreshments will be served.
A candlelight Christmas Eve service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24. Pastor Bo Jackson-Landsperg will lead the service. Tony Landsperg and David Seeley will provide the music.
At 9 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 25, the Christmas service will be led by Wayne and A-J Alexander, with Landsperg and Seeley providing the music.
