Tri-Town Optimists October Student of the Month announced

The Tri-Town Optimist Club of Mechanic Falls, Minot and Poland Regional School Unit 16 student of the month for October is Jason Letourneau, a sixth-grader at Poland Community School. Jason is described by his teacher and principal as a student leader who models the school code of conduct to be respectful, responsible and safe. He is always kind to everyone and is never seen without a smile. Jason goes the extra mile in both his schoolwork and in his caring relationships with others.
