Hebron student named women’s tennis Booster Player of the Year at Elmira College

ELMIRA, N.Y. — Tilila El Yazidi of Hebron, Maine, was named Booster Club Women’s Tennis Player of the Year during the Elmira College 47th Annual Athletics Award Banquet, held on May 22.

Members from Elmira’s 20 varsity teams, as well as the sports medicinedepartment, received end-of-year awards throughout the night, including. Players of the year are recognized for sportsmanlike qualities and outstanding playing contributions in game situations. An award is presented for each individual intercollegiate sport.
