FARMINGTON — SeniorsPlus, the designated Western Maine Agency on Aging, announces the December offering of their Franklin County Education Program, connecting community members in the Farmington area with live educational seminars.
The class, “Informed Aging,” will be held from 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at the Farmington satellite office of SeniorsPlus located at 218 Fairbanks Road.
The instructor, Valerie Cole, a licensed social worker from SeniorsPlus, will lead a discussion around planning for your future. When you think about what’s going to be happening in your life in five years or 15 years, the choices and decisions can be overwhelming. Come learn about some options: home care services, home modification, and navigating the long-term care system.
The class is free and all are welcome. For more information, call 1-800-427-1241.
