Rangeley voters can meet the candidates for selectmen June 7

RANGELEY — The Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce will host a meet the selectmen candidates event at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, at Rangeley Lakes Regional School, Mendolia Road.

Cyndy Egan, Dennis Muzzy, Donald Nuttall and Ethna Thompson are vying on the ballot for two open seats on the Rangeley Board of Selectmen. The event is an opportunity for Rangeley voters to learn where the candidates stand on the issues, understand their vision for Rangeley, listen to the discussion and ask questions, the chamber said in a news release. Moderator will be Christopher C. Farmer.

“The chamber encourages voters to be informed and ‘vote smart’ on June 13,” the release said.
The election also marks the first time the town’s voters will vote by secret ballot on the town warrant.

Polls are open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, at the Town Office.
