BRIDGTON – Senior College at Bridgton fall classes begin Sept. 12 and run through Oct. 11.
Classes will meet in person from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at the Web Tavern at the Magic Lantern Theater.
Senior College at Bridgton is for anyone 50 or older in Bridgton and surrounding Lakes Region communities, with sessions in the spring, fall and winter to appeal to every interest. Membership is open to any senior in the Lakes Region.
Senior College membership is $25, and is valid for the academic year – fall, winter and spring classes – from Sept. 1 through Aug. 31. Class fees are $18 for each of the two four-session classes on Tuesday and Thursday. The single day classes on Monday and Wednesday are $10 each. Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations and masks are required to attend.
Reservation forms are available at the Bridgton Library and at the Senior College website www.seniorcollegeatbridgton.org. Forms must be returned by Sept. 9 to reserve a spot.
This fall’s topics include Shakespeare’s Henry V, Native Maine Plants and Pollinators: They Need Our Help, Maine Mystery Writing, Factor Fine Art, Clean Water is Vital, Loon Echo Land Trust, Old “Billboard” Gravestones of Bridgton and Harrison and SPACE: The Race for the Final Frontier.
