LEWISTON – Lewiston Public Library is hosting a Board Game Night from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, as part of Library After Dark.
The event is free, open to teens and adults, and no reservation is required. Both seasoned veterans and those who are new to the world of board games are welcome.
Library After Dark programs are offered nationally to provide space for adults to do nontraditional library activities. The initiative was created to add to the options for adults in communities that have few things to do outside of work for adults. Since its creation, the idea has spread to many libraries and has expanded to help show that libraries are centers of community and can offer more than just book related programming.
