BRIDGTON — Rosemary Gerbutavich has joined Gallery 302. She has been a lifelong lover of the visual arts and since her retirement from a career as a nurse.
She is best known for her signature watercolor style of extending her images from the paper onto the matting. Her work is constructed by constant layering and adding various elements while building up texture and color.
“Inspiration for me can pop up at any time or any place,” she said. “I am not confined to one subject matter and have a preference for various themes. My work is both a challenge and a passion and my search is for images to express their moods where words fail.”
Aside from Gallery 302, Gerbutavich s a juried board member and gallery director of the Mount Washington Valley Arts Association.
