Norway Center for Health and Rehabilitation receives national recognition third year in a row

NORWAY — U.S. News and World Report has recognized Norway Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Norway, Maine as one of the “Best Nursing Homes” in the United States for 2016 according to a recent press release from National Heath Care Associates Inc., the parent company of Norway Center.

Eleven of National Health Care Associates’ affiliated nursing homes were named to the list, out of nearly 16,000 facilities nationwide. Norway Center received this honor through assessments in health inspections, level and quality of nursing staffing, quality of care, and top rankings from the US. Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare Services. Norway Center also received this recognition in both 2014 and 2015.

The center also maintains a 5-Star quality rating on “Nursing Home Compare,” which provides the federal rankings by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to help individuals, family members, caregivers, and the public find and compare the quality of nursing homes more easily.
