LEWISTON – Weekly story times for babies and preschoolers begin Sept. 6 at Lewiston Public Library.
They are both free, open to the public, with no registration required. Siblings are welcome at both. Participants are asked to stay home if they or their child doesn’t feel well.
Baby Storytime will be held in person from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, beginning Sept. 6, in the Children’s Department. It’s recommended for children up to 24 months old and their caregivers.
The interactive story time will include early literacy fun with books, songs, rhymes and body movement. Play and social time immediately follow the program. Siblings are always welcome. Participants are asked to stay home if they or their child does not feel well.
Preschool Storytime will be from 11:15 a.m. to noon Tuesday, beginning Sept. 6, in the Children’s Department. It is recommended for children ages 2 – 5 years old and their caregivers.
