LIVERMORE FALLS – It’s almost time to solve Treat Memorial Library’s marine mystery after the library has been providing clues all summer at the library, on Facebook and on Beanstack.
Anyone who wants to solve the mystery, or just catch up, can come to Mystery Help Night 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, at the library, 56 Main St. Submit your mystery answers online or at the library by Saturday, Aug. 13, to be entered in the book basket drawing.
Aug. 13 is also the day to turn in summer reading logs. The library wants to thank all its summer readers who dove into the Oceans of Possibility.

Anyone who needs help with a job search may stop by the library from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, to meet with a career consultant from the Career Center. Appointments will be drop in on a first-come, first-served. The consultant will assist with job searches, preparation of a resume and cover letters, and provide information on education and training related to one’s career interest.
Story Time outdoors, whether permitting, is taking place at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday throughout August. Story Time features favorite picture books, sing-a-longs and a take-home craft. Status is updated every Wednesday morning on Facebook. If the weather isn’t good, it’s held online.
Book Club will hold a hybrid meeting (both Zoom and in person) at 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11. Under discussion will be “The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared,” by Jonas Jonasson. The book is part of the Count on Books series (books with numbers in the title). Let staff know if you would like a copy of the book up for discussion.
