Paris Public Library to host Hobbit Immersion Camp in July

PARIS — The Paris Public Library will host Hobbit Immersion Camp for pre and young teens from Monday, July 10, through Friday, July 21, at the library. The camp will have six sessions, at which campers will participate in online lectures from Signum University discussing JRR Tolkien’s classic work, “The Hobbit” and will participate in individual and group activities as they read the book over a two-week period.

The program is designed for 10 to 13 year-olds, but younger and older children are also welcome. Parents should register children at signumuniversity.org/event/hobbit-immersion-camp.
