NEW GLOUCESTER — The Friends of the New Gloucester Library Book and Bake Sale will be from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, at the Community Building, 381 Intervale Road. A members’ only preview sale from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6. Membership signup will be available the day of the preview.
There will be two collection dates for the sale – 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, at the library, 379 Intervale Road, and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 6 at the community building.
The Friends are especially interested in children’s books, adult fiction and adult nonfiction. Donations must be limited to two cartons or four grocery-sized bags. Containers items are donated in can not be returned and staff will not be able to assist with unloading donations. All donations should be clean and free of odors, mold and mildew.
Not accepted – Reader’s Digest condensed books, encyclopedias, textbooks, magazines, VHS tapes, DVDs and CDs.
