AUGUSTA – The Friends of Lithgow Library book sale will be held Aug. 18-20.
The sale will be from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18; 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19 and 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 20. The sale is at the library 45 Winthrop St.
The sale is cash only, with proceeds supporting the Friends’ mission and initiatives, including the Museum and Park Pass program, the Teen Book Boxes, and the Wifi Hotspot lending program, to name a few.
Gently used books, CDs and DVDs may be donated at the library Monday and Thursday in the weeks leading up to the sale. Items that are not accepted are magazines, textbooks, encyclopedias, condensed books and books that are falling apart.
