GREENE — Ileshea Stowe, of Poland, has been named director of Julia Adams Morse Memorial Library.
Stowe comes to the library with a wide range of experience that will help the library develop programs and services to fit the needs and interests of library users, officials said.
The library hosts a weekly Storytime for children, Tech Tuesdays, a Thursday knitter’s group and a Friday morning coffee with neighbors.
The library, at 105 Main St., was built in 1954 on land donated by the Hanscom family and money from the bequest of Frank Morse. The library is named in honor of his mother, Julia Adams Morse.
The library’s hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
