Western Mountain Photography Show details announced

RANGELEY — The Rangeley Friends of the Arts eighth annual Western Mountain Photography Show Exhibit will be held at the Lakeside Contemporary Art Gallery from Sept. 10 to Oct. 6.
The theme for the 2022 exhibit is “Americana,” and photographers who would like to submit work may visit rangeleyarts.org.
The exhibit is juried with awards and cash prizes in two categories. During the exhibit, attendees vote for their favorite image for the People’s Choice award as well. Photographers may submit up to three images.
A reception will be held 5:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, in the gallery, which is in the lobby of the RFA Lakeside Theater, 2493 Main St. The reception will feature snacks and a cash beer and wine bar, where the accepted images will be on display the winners will be announced and prizes awarded.
The exhibit hours are during RFA Lakeside Theater open hours, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Both the exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.
