LEWISTON — Dana Connors, president of the Maine State Chamber of Commerce, will be the guest speaker at the June Lewiston-Auburn Metro Chamber of Commerce breakfast, which will be held at the Poland Spring Resort.
The breakfast will be at 7 a.m. Thursday, June 8, at the resort, 640 Main St., Poland Spring, The resort is offering specials for the day for chamber members, including free visits to the Maine State Building, built by the state for the 1893 for Columbian World’s Fair; free admission to the Poland Spring Bottling Museum; and free admission to Fenn Park, where visitors can hit balls at the driving range, play miniature golf or disc golf.
Participants can also play 18 holes of golf for a discounted $10 per player. Tee times must be scheduled in advance by calling 998- 6002 and asking for the chamber special rate, and golfers must tee off between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. The cost for the breakfast is $20 for members and $30 for non-members.
