SeniorsPlus presents free care planning program via Zoom April 12

Apr. 72022

LEWISTON – SeniorsPlus will present a free, virtual program on care planning from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, via Zoom.
The program is presented in preparation for National Healthcare Decisions Day, which is April 16 and was created to demystify health care decision-making and advance care planning. The program is free and open to the public.
Participants in the April 12 program will engage in games, resources, and conversation to explore what matters most. The Maine Health Care Advance Directive Form will be reviewed, helping participants take the next step in advance care planning that is best for them. Additional resources for planning will be provided to all attendees. Discussion will explore: what living the way you want looks like; how to identify the resources you need to get through a serious illness; how to choose who you would want to speak for you if you became unable to voice your health care wishes, and more.
To register, email edcenter@seniorsplus.org or call 207-795-4010.
