AUBURN — The Public Service and Social Sciences department at Central Maine Community College is hosting a Public Service Career Day from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, April 12. In the gymnasium, Kirk Hall, at CMCC, 1250 Turner St.
Representatives from more than 25 agencies will be present, including local, state and federal law enforcement, county and state corrections, juvenile justice and social services. The Public Service Career Day is an opportunity for students to learn about the wide variety of public service careers available and for agencies to meet first-hand with prospective candidates preparing for entry-level positions in the public service field.
