Lithgow Library has career, Medicare events in April

AUGUSTA – Among Lithgow Public Library’s April offerings are free career consultation and a Medicare workshop.
The CareerCenter on Wheels will be available by appointment or drop-in from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Thursday. The consultant can help with many job/career related needs that include a job search coach, resume guidance, and cover letter guidance and it is completely free.

Medicare 101 will be presented at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 27 by Ruth LaChance.
The 50-minute presentation will help participants learn to navigate the options offered by Medicare, and how to sign up with Social Security. It will give better understanding of what is offered, deadlines, and fines that may be imposed for not signing up on time.
