Literacy Volunteers Letters for Literacy Scrabble Fest returns after two-year hiatus

AUBURN — Scrabble fans are invited to share an afternoon of fun and fundraising at this popular annual event, which will be held from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 24, at High Street Congregational Church, 106 Pleasant St.
This is Scrabble with a twist, as teams of four players, sharing the same letter tray, test their skills against other four- person teams in three, 30-minute rounds.
To participate, gather a team or register as a single player and they will match you with a team, choose a team name, collect pledges to benefit Literacy Volunteers-Androscoggin, and join in an afternoon of Scrabble, refreshments and prizes.
