OHCHS senior collects teddy bears for the police department

PARIS — Tiesha Dawn Hill a senior at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, collected teddy bears and other stuffed animals for the Paris Police Department as part of her senior project, some of which are shown here.

The teddy bears and other toys are given to children who are involved in calls the police respond to, and help child feel somewhat comforted in a time of chaos for them. They also help children to trust the police, rather than be afraid of them.
