Lewiston-Auburn emergency communications director named

AUBURN – Timothy Hall has been named director of the Lewiston Auburn 911 Emergency Communications Center.
The announcement was recently made by the LA911 Committee. Committee Chair, Auburn Police Chief Jason Moen, said that Hall’s experience, training and performance as the center’s operations manager were major factors in the decision.
Hall, who replaces Paul LeClair, has been a member of the Lewiston/Auburn 9-1-1 Center since 2009, serving as dispatcher, trainer, supervisor and most recently operations manager. He has been the CALEA accreditation manager for the past five years and is a member of the Maine EMS Emergency Medical Dispatch Committee.
Hall began his career in emergency communications in 2000 and worked for several agencies before joining Lewiston/Auburn 911. He is a graduate of the National Emergency Number Association’s Center Manager Certification Program and is an IAED-certified emergency telecommunicator course Instructor.
