AYCC Lucky 7K is March 19

WATERVILLE — The Alfond Youth & Community Center second annual Lucky 7K (4.3 miles) & Little Leprechaun 1K Dash will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, March 19.
The race, professionally timed by Back 40 Events, will begin and end in the parking lot at the AYCC, 126 North St. The first 50 registrants receive a Lucky 7K winter race hat. Prizes will be given for top overall male/female finisher and top male/female finishers in each age category.
Bibs can be picked up at a designated spot in the parking lot of the Alfond Youth & Community Center on the day of the race.
The schedule is:
7:30 a.m. – Race day registration and bib pickup
8:30 a.m. -7K Start
9 a.m. – Little Leprechaun 1K Dash
All proceeds benefit the AYCC’s Unified Champion Club, a program that is dedicated to promoting social inclusion by joining adults with and without intellectual disabilities through shared recreational sports and activities. It operates under the simple principle that playing and competing together creates a quick path to friendship and understanding. The Unified Champion Club offers more than 25 activities and has grown to 140 participants.
