Area students earn Clarkson academic honors

POTSDAM, N.Y. – Several students from central Maine have earned academic honors from Clarkson University for the fall 2021 semester.
Dean’s List students must achieve a minimum 3.25 grade-point average and also carry at least 14 credit hours. Presidential scholars must achieve a minimum 3.80 grade-point average and carry at least 14 credit hours.
Recognized for academic achievement are:
Corbin Matthew Bourgoin, of Sabattus, a freshman majoring in business studies, was named to the dean’s list.
Aaron R Jones, of Gorham, a senior majoring in computer engineering, was named a presidential scholar.
Matthew G Parent, of Oakland, a freshman majoring in electrical engineering, was named a presidential scholar.
Eola Saucier, of Topsham, a senior majoring in mechanical engineering, was named a presidential scholar.
