Augusta Scouts honor veterans during Wreaths Across America

Scouts from Augusta Cub Packs 603 and 684 and Troops 603 and 631 took part in the Wreaths Across America program on Dec. 18, placing hundreds of wreaths on veteran graves at Togus National Veterans Cemetery and the Maine Veteran Cemeteries on Civic Center Drive and Mount Vernon Avenue, all in Augusta. ” It was an honor to help out placing the wreaths at the graves,” Scout leader Theresa Poirier, of Augusta, said.
