LEWISTON — The Public Works Dept. will hold a public meeting at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 19, regarding Main Street improvements. The virtual meeting can be accessed at lewistonmaine.gov/2022MainStreetImprovements.
Improvements planned for Main Street from James B. Longley Memorial Bridge to the intersection of Strawberry Avenue will be discussed. The work will include pavement resurfacing, with sidewalk and ADA ramp improvements. The program is locally administered by the Maine Department of Transportation, with state and federal funding.
Presenters at the meeting will review preliminary recommendations as well as listen to concerns and comments from residents.
