BRUNSWICK – Midcoast Senior College’s annual Winter Wisdom lecture series begins on Jan. 6 and continues through Feb. 16.
All one-hour programs take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday on Zoom and are free of charge. Included in the offerings will be a discussion led by Sen. Angus King, I-Maine, who will discuss recent congressional legislation of interest to seniors.
Among other offerings are ‘Musical Narrative and the 4 Chopin Ballads,” with George Lopez, Beckwith artist-in-residence at Bowdoin College; “Maritime Maine and Hawaii”; a look at microplastics pollution; Longfellow Days; and more.
