BRIDGTON — Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club will host a drive-thru Community Kettle from 4 to 5 p.m. (or until the food runs out) Thursday, Dec. 16, at Bridgton Community Center, Depot Road.
Rotarian and chef Nick Orgo of MANE Catering and Stella’s on the Square will prepare the meal with Rotary helpers. The meal is free, and everyone is welcome. Donations will be accepted, with proceeds funding community projects.
The menu will include roasted winter squash soup, herb salt crusted roast beef, roasted root vegetables with thyme and olive oil, mixed greens salad and holiday cookies.
The event will include caroling and possibly a visit from Santa. Interact Club members from Lake Region High School (young Rotarians) and Rotarians will be helping with food prep, serving and cleaning up.
