The Mechanic Falls, Minot and Poland Tri-Town Optimist Club has announced that Leksi Langevin is the Regional School Unit 16 December Student of the Month. Leksi, a sixth-grader at Minot Consolidated School, is described by her teacher as a student who consistently holds herself to a high standard. She always comes to school with a smile and helps to support others, both inside and outside of class. She is a positive role model who brings out the best in everyone she comes in contact with.
