LEWISTON – The Lewiston Public Library has launched a virtual weekly story time combining both Babytime and Preschool Storytimes. It replaces the outdoors story time the library had been holding.
The new story time is 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. every Tuesday, beginning Nov. 23., online. It’s for children from infant to age 5.
Storytime is a fun and interactive activity for children and their caregivers that helps introduce children to the world of books, learning and the library. Early literacy concepts such as print awareness and phonics will be introduced to parents and children. Enjoy stories, songs, fingerplay, and more. Siblings are always welcome.
The program is free and open to the public.
